From mid October we open our Christmas department where inspirational displays, room settings and themes help you select the best products for your home. Baubles, tree trims, tinsel, wreaths, swags, ornaments, candles,  Christmas trees of all shapes and sizes, lights for indoors and outdoors, animated figures, crackers, Christmas cards, Advent Calendars, Christmas table ware, napkins and cloths – you won’t find a bigger or better display anywhere in the North West.

We sell only the best tree lights from leading manufacturers such as Noma so you can buy with confidence, we stock all the replacement bulbs you may need and our lighting experts can solve most problems.

You can also complete your Christmas present list from us with ideal presents for all the family. Our plant and gardening range is as big as ever as we have plenty of space, we also have books, soft toys, kitchenware, glasses, ornaments, vases, jewellery, handbags, purses, mugs, jigsaws, garden games, mirrors, cosmetic bags, wellingtons, candles, pot pourri, torches, dinner sets, pictures, thermos flasks, tools, and much much more. If you are still struggling to solve the present for the friend who has everything one of our staff may be able to point you in the right direction, or failing that we sell Gordale Gift Vouchers so they select their own.

Our food department is bursting to the seams with Christmas goodies, stuffings, puddings, sauces, chocolates, cakes, mince pies for Christmas Day plus all our usual biscuits, jams, pates, cakes, chutneys and pickles.  We have superb sauces and kits to help you make a quick meal out of leftovers so that Boxing Day can be a breeze and let you sit with your feet up!!

Our real Christmas trees arrive in the last week in November, beautifully shaped they  are sourced from the best UK growers. These trees will not disappoint, providing you follow the care instructions given at the time of purchase, we wrap them for you and take them straight to your car or on the larger trees we can deliver them directly to your home.
