Our resident expert Karen's talks begin on January 14th. Talks are free  to everyone and are held every second Wednesday. Just turn up and enjoy. Each session lasts approximately 30 minutes. There is free coffee or tea for all participants after the session.

Orchid Weekend - Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th January 2009

Visit Gordale for a whole day of orchid excitement. Free tips and advice from leading orchid experts Sara Rittershausen, Jeff Hutchings and Chris Channon. There will also be orchid exhibitions from local societies and botanic collections as well as rare and unusual orchids for sale. Floral demonstrations will be carried out by NAFAS affiliated Neston Flower Society who are celebrating their 50th anniversary.

Potato Weekend - Saturday 31th January and Sunday 1st February 2009

The famous Gordale Potato Weekend is back for another year! Come along and listen to 10 times Chelsea Gold Medal winner Medwyn Williams give expert help and advice. Watch as he gives live demonstrations and tips on how to grow the finest crops. We also have over 75 different varieties avalable to purchase and we can give you help on deciding the right variety for your taste, purpose or planting environment.
