We’ve been growing with your family since 1948, so this year we are celebrating our 75th birthday, and to mark the occasion we are hosting an exciting Family Fun Weekend.
What to expect:
Experiment with diablos, go wild with spinning plates, stomp around on stilts and have fun with hula hoops at this fantastic drop in workshop. Carnival and Lawn Games Sat & Sun 11am – 4pm
Bring out your competitive side and challenge your friends and family to a game of hook a duck, hoopla, coconut shy or one of our popular lawn games. Donkey Rides Sat & Sun 11am – 3pm
Come and say hello to the sweet donkeys from Dapper Donkeys, then enjoy a ride around our grounds (small charge applies) Artisan food and craft stalls Sat & Sun 11am – 4pm
Discover local independent businesses and try a selection of delights, or treat yourself to a beautiful handcrafted gift. Face Painting Sat & Sun 11am – 4pm
Wow your family and friends with a fantastic face paint, what design will you choose? (voluntary donation) Musical Entertainment from Swing Era Sets approx 12 noon & 1.30pm on Sat, and 12.30pm & 2pm on Sun
Enjoy live swing music from local band Swing Era, as they perform nostalgic classics throughout the weekend. Don’t forget to look out for bubble stilt walkers & balloon modellers throughout the weekend too!
