Gordale Service station has been one of the Wirral’s leading independent petrol stations for the last 40 years.
As an independent station, not in a chain – we get our fuel from the Essar refinery (formerly Stanlow) which means we can buy in much larger quantities and therefore obtain a better price. Our prices remain competitive as we check daily with the likes of NWF, Tates, Certas and others to keep our price as keen as possible, passing the savings on to you, the motorist.
Pay At Pump
We’re pleased to have our own Pay at Pump meters for our customer’s convenience.
Your card issuer/bank will temporarily reserve up to £99 of your available balance while you fill up. Then when you have completed fuelling, you’ll be charged for the correct amount of fuel you have used and the remainder of any reserved funds will be released back to your available balance.
What we offer
We supply firewood that is sourced from locally managed woodland and traditionally seasoned in log piles for over 12 months. The logs are then sorted, cut and bagged before making their journey to us, less than 2 miles away. We sell both seasoned hardwood and softwood cut logs with under 20% moisture content.
We stock all the essential car accessories from Castrol Motor Oil, Bulbs, Air1 to Adblue, Chargers and Air Fresheners.
We are a Evri Drop Off and Collection point with an in-store label printer for your convenience. It’s a really handy service if you don’t have access to a printer and means you can pay for and print parcel labels in one trip. Just visit our petrol station and enter the delivery details and then pay on the device using Chip & Pin or Contactless. Your label will print out ready for you to stick to your parcel and send. Job done!
We have a digital air machine, supplied and maintained by “Air Serve” checked for accuracy every month.
