Mission Christmas is here to make sure that children living in poverty can have a great Christmas.
Children everywhere, from all walks of life, will be living in poverty this Christmas. Families who were able to manage just a few months ago are now having to choose whether to HEAT or EAT. The price of food, fuel and other essentials has risen, but wages for most people have seen a real-terms cut.
Christmas is something they can’t even begin to afford.
Which is why we are now an official Cash for Kids Liverpool, North West & North Wales MISSION CHRISTMAS 2023 DROP OFF POINT – we’re gathering as many gifts as we can to ensure Christmas arrives in every household in our community.
We can accept new and unwrapped gifts, simply pop them in the donation box located near our tills, and we’ll ensure they arrive at Mission Christmas HQ in-time for Christmas.

This is just part of our Gordale Gives Back campaign which we have launched this Christmas, to support our local community during the festive period. Not only will we be helping to collect Christmas presents for families in need, our friendly colleagues have also arranged a food bank collection, which will be dropped off at our local food bank in time for Christmas. This is on top of the Charity Santa’s Grotto which our in-store team of elves constructs and builds, before handing the reins to local charity Hospice of the Good Shepherd. Every penny collected from ticket sales is donated directly to Hospice of the Good Shepherd, helping support families at their time of need.
