Children’s Summer Activities

We welcome children of all ages and abilities to come and take part in our super fun activities which will be held in our outdoor Summer Marquee this year for accessibility. We know that children are active and adventurous during the summer months, so we make sure that every activity is safe and fun. No matter what kind of child you have, we have something for them. Not to mention, our prices are very affordable – which makes it even more fun for parents!

DAPPER DONKEYS

Meet the sweet donkeys from Dapper Donkey Farm, a local rescue charity. Enjoy a ride around the garden centre and learn all about the work they do every day to help our furry friends.

CREEPY CRAWLY SHOW

Snakes, lizards, and tarantulas are just some of our creepy delights. Are you brave enough to touch or hold them? Learn fascinating facts and enjoy ‘Get me out of here’ challenges.

MRS GIGGLES

Join Mrs Giggles for a fun-filled show of puppets, magic, music, singing and dancing. Enter the magical world of Chuckleborough with Scruffy the dog and Gertie the parrot! Plus FREE modelling balloon for each child.

PROFESSOR BUNSEN

There’s lots of fun learning in this science class. Activities include fun with fire, water, smoke and sherbet making. BEWARE – could be more fun than you can handle!

NATURE DAY

Enjoy designing your own little wonders of nature to keep forever. Includes build-your-own herb house, paint your own ceramic frog flowerpot and colourful scratch art. Guaranteed to beat the boredom that ‘bugs’ you!

DRAGONS & PRINCESSES

It’s imagination time for your little adventurers! Dragons and Princesses feature in a fairytale scene which you’ll create by painting or colouring masks and your very own castle (that doubles as a coin bank!) to take home.
